Board Member Spotlight - Jeff Howcroft

My name is Jeff Howcroft and it has been a pleasure to serve on the Northern Utah Chapter Board over the past 15 years. Over this time I have served in various roles from President, Past President, EVP of Professional Development and various roles in education. My involvement as a chapter volunteer has brought me full circle, back to where my first volunteer efforts began, and I am excited to again be serving in the role of Vice President of Education and helping serve our chapter members.
I come from a background of heavy construction and have been serving in project management roles for the past 30+ years at various organization. I am currently working as a Director of Project Management and Planning for a local utility company and enjoy helping mentor and develop new project managers both in my personal career and my volunteer role with the chapter. I am PMP, PMI-SP, and PBA certified with PMI as well as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, LEED BD+C, as well as Several Agile & Scrum Certification. I enjoy learning and have a passion for helping others develop and climb their own career ladders.
In my role as VP of Education I am responsible for putting together the different exam prep class and training events for our chapter. While we offer several PMI certification programs, we also offer several other certifications and training programs to help our members earn PDU’s and to help our members develop additional skills. Over the past few years the demand for private training has grown significantly and we currently offer several different options that we can bring directly to your organization for your company employees.
