A Tale of Two Projects: How to Run a Successful Large-Scale Implementation
You’ve been assigned a project to replace technology for the whole company, enterprise-level. If you think that sounds like a big job, you’re right! You need project management skills to successfully deliver project value, but if you’ve never handled an enterprise level project, there are things that could fall through the cracks. Danielle offers up tips for managing a project of this size, using real life case studies and experience from both a successful and unsuccessful project. She has gained valuable insights through several large-scale implementations, and will provide strategies for stakeholder management, effective communication, understanding minimum viable product (MVP), delegation, comprehensive training and more. Let’s learn how to overcome the fear of a large scale project and stare it right down the barrel, so you can manage it with confidence.
About the Speaker
Danielle has been a Project Manager for 12 years with C.R. England, overseeing several large-scale enterprise level implementations. With a strong background in Operations before moving to Project Management, she integrates her practical knowledge into large-scale implementations and effectively leads teams through hundreds of smaller scale projects.
Key lessons learned from the first large-scale project 10 years ago to the most recent large-scale project in 2022 are the basis for this talk. She is passionate about Project Management and enjoys sharing this knowledge and experience with others. As a speaker, she offers a practical and straightforward approach to translating complex project management concepts into actionable insights that you can readily apply in your own professional endeavors.
In her spare time, she plays keyboards in a band, and likes to go to car shows. She owns two mustangs that she takes to these car shows – a 2019 GT350 and a 2008 GT-C California Special. She has two boys, 22 and 24 and two dogs, both huskies.
