Successful managers are expected to lead initiatives, manage change, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver results, often without formal project management training. This interactive course provides practical project management and leadership tools that leaders can immediately apply in their daily work.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of project management including project initiation, stakeholder engagement, scope development, planning, scheduling, risk management, communication, execution, and project closeout. The course also explores leadership topics such as team development, conflict resolution, change management, accountability, and effective communication. Through hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios, participants will gain a practical framework for managing projects while successfully leading people through change.
Upon completion, participants will have a common project management vocabulary and a toolkit of techniques to improve project outcomes, team performance, and organizational effectiveness.
